Microsoft’s Data Science skilling programme empowers rural youth in Shadnagar-Telangana Today

The programme with a market value of Rs 3 lakh per student offered free of cost; aims to prepare young professionals for careers in tech and data analytics

Hyderabad: The Data Science skilling programme, supported by Microsoft, designed and implemented by United Way of Hyderabad (UWH), is helping youth in Shadnagar and neighbouring villages. The programme with a market value of Rs 3 lakh per student is offered free of cost. It aims to prepare young professionals for careers in tech and data analytics.

A total of 80 students were trained under this programme in two batches and of these, 57 students secured placements. The programme curriculum includes Advanced Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, AI / Machine Learning. They were also trained on life skills such as stress management, resume preparation, mock interviews, office etiquette, etc.

The graduation ceremony for the second cohort of students was held at the Shadnagar Municipality Office on Saturday.
