Browns’ Shedeur Sanders Roasted Over Awkward Viral Interview With Kids Sport Reporter

Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders has been making headlines for months. After being one of the most polarizing figures in the 2025 NFL Draft, his plummet to the fifth round sent shockwaves through the league.

Despite the drama surrounding the young signal caller, he has already begun his training with the Browns. There is a chance that Sanders could start, but he presumably has a long way to climb up the ranks of a stacked quarterback room.

Now, Sanders is facing more heat due to an awkward interview he had with Kids Sports Reporters.

KidsSportsReporters are two brothers who get to travel and meet some of the highest-profile athletes in the world. Though their questions are often simple and entertaining, they can often stop certain people in their tracks.

That appeared to be the case when co-host Huddy asked Sanders a simple question about who he is excited to play with in the NFL in 2025.

“Who are you most excited to play with in the NFL this season?”

Sanders’ answer not only stopped Huddy, but it also led to fans roasting him in the comments.

“The Cleveland Browns. Yeah, the Cleveland Browns,” Sanders responded.

Huddy looked into the camera, seemingly understanding the awkward moment, and the interview has gone viral for Sanders’ odd response. Though he might have been trying to just praise his team and excitement playing for the Browns, fans went off on him.

MLFootball shared the interview pulled from TikTok, and the fans commented on how awkward Sanders’ response was.

Some responses were more on the positive side, commenting that Sanders was merely trying to hype up his new team.

Due to the answer and the way that Sanders was portrayed in reports during and after the draft, it is likely that he is going to continue making plenty of headlines for many years to come.

Sanders will have to compete with Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel, and Kenny Pickett for the starting spot, or even QB2. The young passer has his work cut out for him, but he may shine in training camp and preseason.

Flacco is the presumed starter right now, and Pickett would be the presumed QB2, leading to either Gabriel or Sanders battling it out for the emergency QB3 and practice squad slot.
