Minersville’s Paiten LaPoint won gold in the boys 2A 200-meter dash at the PIAA Track and Field Championship Saturday. He also placed second in the boys 2A 100-meter dash.

A:. Extremely rewarding because of all the hard work I put in this season.

A: finally grabbing a Gold metal at states and the great team/coaches I had around me.
Q: What has most led to your success sprinting this season?
A: Getting my Block Starts tuned in and following what my coaches preached
Q: What motivates you most to succeed in track?
A: I’m very competitive and plan to run at the collegiate level.
