Turkmenistan Foreign Minister and UN Deputy Secretary General Discuss Preparations for LLDC 3 Forum

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov discussed preparations for the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC 3) via video link with UN Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for the Least Developed, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island States Rabab Fatima.

The work on preparing the relevant premises for holding plenary sessions, round tables, forums and other parallel events was reviewed in detail, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

The meeting emphasized the high importance of this Conference in the context of implementing the Sustainable Development Goals.

Recall that LLDC3 will be held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone from August 5 to 8. More than 100 high-level delegations are expected to participate in the forum.
