Nara Rohit’s film is steady, grosses over Rs 10 crore

Bhairavam is the latest Telugu film starring Bellamkonda Srinivas, Manchu Manoj, and Nara Rohith, who returns to Telugu cinema after a long gap. The family drama is the official remake of the Tamil hit Garudan and hit the screens on May 30, 2025. Though the reviews were mixed, the mass elements have helped the film connect with audiences in B and C centers.

Bhairavam day 2 collections

As previously reported by OTTplay, Bhairavam earned ₹3 crore net on its opening day. On day two, the action drama collected ₹2.6 crore, bringing its total to ₹5.6 crore net worldwide. These are decent collections, and with Sunday approaching, the numbers are expected to improve. The makers are leaving no stone unturned in keeping the film in the spotlight.

Bellamkonda Srinivas, known for Rakshasudu, is thrilled with the film’s success. He mentioned that he had been waiting a long time for a hit and is happy that his performance is being widely appreciated. Meanwhile, Vedham star Manchu Manoj, who also makes a strong impact in the film, said he’s overwhelmed by the continued love from fans and the general audience even after nine long years.

Directed by Vijay Kanakamedala of Naandhi fame, Bhairavam is also notable for marking the Telugu debut of Aditi Shankar. Her lively role in the film is being well-received by audiences.

However, Bhairavam is struggling at the U.S. box office, with little traction overseas. In contrast, the response in the Telugu states has been strong, with mass audiences showing enthusiasm—helped in part by the absence of any major competing releases.

Zee5 has bagged the digital rights to the film for a fancy price and will stream Bhairavam in the second week of July 2025. For now, the film is enjoying good occupancy during the weekend, and it remains to be seen how it performs once the weekdays begin.
