Rajasthan Government Attracts Central Public Sector Enterprises During Delhi Roadshow | Jaipur News
Jaipur/New Delhi: In a meeting attended by senior executives of over 50 Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Tuesday urged them to explore business opportunities in the state.
During the meeting, Manoj Jain, CMD of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), said, “Rajasthan is emerging as a huge industrial base for defence manufacturing.BEL has plans to develop a centre of excellence for artificial intelligence (AI) and software development in Rajasthan which would cater to companies in defence and electronics sectors.”
Similarly, Sanjay Swarup, CMD of Container Corporation of India, spoke about the need to expand sustainable modes of transport.
“The LNG mobility is severely constrained in northern parts of the country due to unavailability of infrastructure. With the arrival of the LNG project in Rajasthan, this challenge will be effectively addressed,” he said.
Principal Secretary (Industries) Ajitabh Sharma made a presentation on the investment opportunities in Rajasthan and encouraged the officials of the CPSEs to explore the strategic advantage the state provides due to its proximity to Delhi.
