Virgin Atlantic Launches Sky High Club for Indian Travel Agents, ET TravelWorld
Virgin Atlantic has announced the launch of Sky High Club, a dedicated rewards programme created for travel agents across India. The initiative aims to reinforce the airline’s partnership with the Indian trade sector and recognises the contribution of agents in facilitating international travel.
Launched on 5 June, the Sky High Club represents Virgin Atlantic’s first such programme tailored specifically for the Indian market. The initiative will allow agents to accumulate points with every booking and redeem them for curated rewards and experiences. It is positioned not just as a transactional loyalty platform but also as a means to celebrate the continued efforts of travel professionals.
“As agents progress through the programme, the benefits grow even more rewarding – a reflection of Virgin Atlantic’s ongoing commitment to recognising and celebrating those who consistently go the extra mile,” the airline noted in a statement.
India’s travel trade has remained a key pillar of Virgin Atlantic’s business in the region. By offering a structured platform for engagement and reward, the airline hopes to deepen its ties with the agent community.
Shivani Singh Deo, Country Manager – India, Virgin Atlantic, said: “At Virgin Atlantic, we’ve always believed in the power of partnerships and Sky High Club is our way of recognising the travel agents who make incredible journeys possible every single day – and we’re here to champion, celebrate and reward them like never before.”
The initiative comes amid a broader focus on strengthening market-specific engagement strategies, particularly in regions demonstrating consistent outbound traffic. As the global aviation sector continues to recover and evolve, the role of travel agents in connecting passengers with reliable international carriers remains vital.
The Sky High Club offers members opportunities to gain access to exclusive Virgin Atlantic experiences, event invitations, and other tier-based benefits that grow with continued participation. The launch underscores the airline’s renewed commitment to working more closely with its travel partners in India.
With the Sky High Club now officially launched, Virgin Atlantic intends to maintain strong momentum in one of its key global markets by building lasting relationships with its travel trade partners.
