Three Bulgarian Bands Among Finalists of SoAlive Music Video Awards
Three Bulgarian bands are among the finalists in the first SoAlive Music Video Awards, which recognise outstanding achievements in music video creation from the Balkan region. The eleven finalists have been selected by an international jury among hundreds of entries from across Southeast Europe, the organisers said Wednesday.
The Bulgarian finalists are: Flygood with “Live Luck”, Flying Nomads with “Redwall”, and Woomb with “Last Rays”.
The winner will be announced at a ceremony on October 3. The event is part of the SoAlive Music Conference (SAMC), which takes place from October 2 to 4 in Sofia. Participating are over 400 international delegates.
The winner will receive a EUR 10,000 grand prize to create a new music video with the support of Magic Shop. The prize will be provided in the form of equipment rental. This includes any equipment needed to create a music video, such as cameras and lighting. The rental period will cover two full shooting days. The award is designed to assist in the creation of a high quality music video with professional guidance.
Over 30 bands and performers from Bulgaria and the Balkans are scheduled to perform at the SoAlive Music Festival in Sofia from October 2 to 4. Among them are the folklore choir The Mystery of Bulgarian Voices, Victoria Georgieva, Ivo Dimchev, Heptagram, Pechenkata, Katerina Papadopoulou, La Fazani, and many more. Entry for all concerts is free of charge.
