Leitrim premier of regenerative farming film set for The Organic Centre
Later this month, the Organic Centre in Rossinver will host the Leitrim premiere of The Longest Malin to Mizen — a documentary chronicling a remarkable 1,240km cycling journey showcasing Ireland’s leading regenerative and organic farms.
The screening will take place on Saturday, June 14, and promises to be an evening of film, food, and conversation for anyone interested in sustainable living, healthy eating, and community wellbeing.
In August 2024, Brendan Guinan of Fiorbhia Farm and wellness advocate Colman Power set off from Malin Head in Donegal, Ireland’s northernmost point, to Mizen Head in Cork, the southernmost tip of the country.
Along their journey, they visited ten of the country’s top regenerative and organic farms, capturing the stories, landscapes and practices that are not only transforming Irish agriculture but also boosting biodiversity.
The Organic Centre is delighted to welcome Brendan and Colman for this special event, which will also feature guest speaker Clive Bright of Sligo — a well-known figure in Ireland’s regenerative farming community.

The evening will begin at 6pm, with a selection of light bites on offer.
The film screening will commence at 7.30pm, followed by a Q&A session at 8.30pm with the film’s creators, offering insights into the journey and the benefits of chemical-free farming practices.
This is a unique opportunity for locals to engage with national leaders in regenerative agriculture and to connect with like-minded individuals from across the region.
Tickets are available now, with an early bird price of €35 and general admission at €40. Spaces are limited and demand is expected to be high.
For those passionate about healthy food, environmental sustainability, and rural resilience, this is not a night to be missed.
