Iván Chávez spoke about directing The Warning’s music video for “Qué Más Quieres” on the red carpet of the Tribeca Film Festival at Spring Studios.
The Warning is comprised of three sisters from Monterrey, México. These include Daniela on lead vocals and guitar, Paulina on drums and background vocals, and Alejandra Villarreal on the bass and backing vocals.
“Qué Más Quieres” is the sole Spanish song on The Warning’s new album “Keep Me Fed.”
Chávez co-directed the “Qué Más Quieres” video with Paulina Villarreal Vélez, and Chávez served as video’s editor.
Inspiration to direct the music video
On his inspiration to direct this music video, Chávez stated, “The band and the music inspired me. Paulina, the drummer of the group, was the one who thought of the idea, and she invited me to be a part of this.”
“I am just really happy and lucky to have been a part of it,” Chávez acknowledged.
Tribeca Film Festival
On being an official selection at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival, Chávez remarked, “It feels amazing to be here. We are loving the city. There is something so fun about taking the subway. Going to the ‘Casino’ premiere with Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro was just magical.”
“Overall, Tribeca is a truly magical festival,” he added.
