Sport 24 extends UEFA Women’s Euro coverage rights for 2025 edition

Sport 24, the in-flight and on-ship entertainment service owned by international sports agency IMG, has snapped up exclusive rights to cover the upcoming UEFA Women’s European Championships national team soccer tournament.

The 2025 Women’s Euro, containing 16-team teams, will be held in Switzerland between July 2 and 27.

The IMG-owned channel also covered the previous Euros, which took place in England (and was won by the hosts) in 2022. The last edition of the men’s Euros, held in Germany in mid-2024, was also covered by Sport 24.

The deal extends across the range of airlines and cruise lines with Sport 24 as an entertainment option – this list includes Etihad Airways, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Carnival Group, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Fred Olsen.

Other live sport to be shown by Sport 24 over the coming months include tennis’ Wimbledon grand slam from London, golf’s The Open, as well as motor racing’s iconic Formula 1.

The channel is produced from the IMG studio facilities near London, UK.

In March, Sport 24 added men’s soccer’s 2026 FIFA World Cup to its rights stable, in what will be the fourth consecutive World Cup to be aired by the service.

In terms of broadcast rights deals covering the upcoming Women’s Euro, earlier this month Indian streaming service FanCode was unveiled as a partner.

Late last week, meanwhile, it was announced that French commercial network TF1 had agreed to sub-license 12 games from the competition to public-service broadcaster France Télévisions.
