Sony Music Publishing has announced a significant deal with Nigerian highlife legend Bright Chimezie, aimed at preserving and reviving his rich musical legacy.
Celebrated for his lively performance style and as the originator of the “Zigima Sound,” Bright Chimezie continues to play a crucial role in the development of contemporary highlife and Afrobeat.
Sony Music Publishing will take charge of organizing and overseeing Bright Chimezie’s expansive body of work, which includes his renowned recordings and compositions.
