Hyderabad: American Sports Gold Medalist (2024) and vice chairman of the Master Games and Sports Federation of India, Kolan Jagjeevan Reddy, planted saplings at Jubilee Hills on Sunday as part of the Green India Challenge Harithasena initiative, launched by former Rajya Sabha MP J Santosh Kumar. His family members also participated in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Jagjeevan Reddy expressed his happiness at being part of the Green India Challenge Harithasena initiative. He also assured his full support for the campaign in the future. He emphasised that, as a matter of social responsibility, every citizen, regardless of age, should plant saplings and work towards a greener, pollution-free environment.
As part of the initiative, Jagjeevan Reddy nominated Major Dheeraj Reddy, Dr Vasavi Reddy, and ACP Narender Reddy to continue the Green India Challenge Harithasena movement.
