Crafted by Master Perfumer Honorine Blanc, Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum Intense offers a layered olfactory journey through citrus, gardenia and sandalwood notesThe flacon features Gucci’s archival 1966 floral motif reimagined in fuchsia

Coty has extended the Gucci Flora fragrance line with Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum Intense, described as the most intense expression in the collection to date. It launched in global travel retail on 1 July.

Created by Master Perfumer Honorine Blanc, the new floral woody gourmand scent builds on the original Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum.

The fragrance opens with Italian mandarin essence, leading into a gardenia accord and hedione heart, and finishes with a base of sandalwood essence to offer long-lasting intensity.

Describing the fragrance, Blanc said: “With Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum Intense, I wanted to enhance the sensuality of gardenia by capturing the flower’s full depth, from its creamy richness to its woody facets.

“The scent opens with a rush of citrus, unfolding into its full floral elegance, before embracing the bold warmth of its intensely enveloping depths.”

Miley Cyrus returns as the face of Gucci Flora in a new campaign blending nature and cityscapes

Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum Intense is available in 10ml, 30ml, 50ml and 100ml formats. The packaging features the brand’s signature Flora motif, originally created in 1966 by artist Vittorio Accornero de Testa. The bottle is presented in a bright fuchsia tone with gold ‘Intense’ lettering to reflect the scent’s amplified character.

The launch is accompanied by a visual campaign fronted by American singer/songwriter/actress and brand ambassador Miley Cyrus, who continues her role as the face of the Flora franchise.

Set against the Los Angeles skyline at sunset, the visuals highlight the juxtaposition of nature and the city to mirror the fragrance’s duality, Gucci said. It was captured by American photographer Tyler Mitchell.
