Wieden+Kennedy to halt advertising services in Delhi and Mumbai, scaling back workforce – Brand Wagon News
W+K announced that the company is winding down operations in Mumbai by the end of this year and scaling back its workforce in the agency’s Delhi office. From what is understood, the workforce in the Delhi office will work with the agency’s global leadership to support critical shared services and global business operations, excluding advertising services at this time.
Although the company announced that the current management has put in their papers, Padhi and Ghosh will remain with the agency until the end of the year to help with the transition, W+K commented.
Furthermore, the company also mentioned that it won’t be taking on client opportunities in Delhi or Mumbai. The company also hinted at the possibility of ramping back the business in future.
