Getting hands on with the science of dream jobs

PUPILS got hands on and discovered how to turn dream jobs into a reality.

Burman Infant and Nursery School hosted a Little Scientists, Big Dreams day to show how science plays a role in many careers from forensics with finger prints to electricians.

Joanne Hand, teacher, said: “Children moved around in mixed age groups and tried their hand at a range of different Science-related jobs including a doctor, electrician, botanist, forensic scientist, ecologist, engineer.

“There was such a buzz around school and it was wonderful to see children collaborating on different experiments.

“There were many ‘wow’ moments as children made discoveries and solved problems. It was clear to see that our aim of exciting and inspiring our children was achieved.”
