Get ready, Swifties. Taylor Swift’s Vancouver Eras Tour concert film has officially been given a launch date on Disney+, and it’s your chance to relive the magic that took over the city last fall.
Swift shared the news on her social media on Monday, Oct. 13, announcing that The Eras Tour | The Final Show, filmed at BC Place and featuring the entire Tortured Poets Department set, will come to Disney+ on Friday, Dec. 12.
The first two episodes of The End of an Era, a behind-the-scenes docuseries about the record-breaking tour, will also land on the streamer simultaneously.
“It was the End of an Era and we knew it,” said Swift on Instagram.
“We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”

Swift took over BC Place for three concerts last December, though Taylormania had a much longer and wider impact on the city and fans.
There were massive friendship bracelets on bridges and horses and huge lineups outside of pop-up merch stores.
An estimated 160,000 fans attended the three shows, with a news release from Destination Vancouver suggesting that the total economic impact of Swift coming to Vancouver was $157 million.

Swift is currently riding high off the success of her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl. The 14-time Grammy winner sold over four million equivalent album units of TLOAS in its first week.
Those seeking a unique Taylor Swift experience in Vancouver can join the special collaboration between Dome Vancouver and Sofar Sounds.
Three musicians will be re-imagining Swift’s greatest hits from all her albums, from Debut to Life of a Showgirl. The show will be displayed on the Dome’s 360° immersive screen, and organizers promise that every song will feel “bigger, brighter and bolder.”
