Three floors of music and vibes: Famous Kilkenny nightspot ready to rock Leaving Cert results night
A Kilkenny pub has planned a big night as part of Leaving Cert celebrations next month, as students across the country prepare to receive their exam results.
The Leaving Cert results party takes place at Kyteler’s Inn on Friday, August 22. Three floors will feature three styles of music, with DJ DNR, Courtyard Bar Club tunes and more, Cheezy Classics with DJ AL-P, and live Irish rebel and ballad hits from Rebel Hits.
The popular pub on Kieran Street in Kilkenny City has put the call out to students to celebrate in style, with a late night of music and partying set to take place. It kicks off at 9pm and runs until 1am.
“Are you ready to celebrate the end of exams and the start of a new chapter? Join us at Kyteler’s Inn for a night of fun, laughter, and good vibes as we toast to your Leaving Cert results,” the local hostely says. “Whether you aced it or just survived, come and let loose with your friends and classmates. It’s time to unwind and make memories that will last a lifetime. Don’t miss out on this epic party – see you there!”
Tickets for the big event are available on Eventbrite here for €16.50 plus booking fee.
Over 1,000 students across Kilkenny will receive their results on August 22. Students will be able to access their results online through the Candidate Self Service Portal (CSSP) from 10am, with results being issued to Kilkenny schools at the same time.
Meanwhile, Kyteler’s Inn will host its over-30s club night on Sunday, August 3. It runs 6pm to 10pm and doors close at 8pm sharp.
The local pub has also just launched a new stout – the Black Cat, a rich and enigmatic stout inspired by Kilkenny’s most infamous witch and her mysterious feline companion.
Drawing on the haunted heritage of Dame Alice Kyteler — a 14th-Century noblewoman accused of sorcery — The Black Cat Stout is as dark and complex as the myths that surround her. Brewed in small batches using roasted malts, charred barley, and a hint of black cherry, this stout delivers a smooth pour with a hauntingly long finish.
