This exclusive summer course, directed by violinist and educator Itzhak Rashkovsky, will welcome around 60 advanced students of violin, viola and cello. Selected from various countries, the participants will receive masterclasses in private facilities throughout the week, sharpening their skills under the guidance of top-tier professionals.

Full string orchestra performance

The evening will feature a diverse programme performed in small chamber ensembles and conclude with a full string orchestra performance, conducted by Yaron Traub, the distinguished Israeli maestro known for his 12-year tenure as principal conductor of the Valencia Orchestra. Traub has led prestigious orchestras worldwide and brings a wealth of international experience to the event.

Last year’s repertoire included Pablo Sarasate’s Navarra for two violins and string orchestra and Handel’s Prayer for violin and string orchestra, setting the bar high for what promises to be another memorable evening of classical string music.

Keshet Eilon Music Centre

The mastercourse is organised by Keshet Eilon Music Centre, an institution devoted to nurturing exceptional string players since its foundation. With over 1,600 alumni from 53 countries, many of whom have gone on to join major orchestras or pursue careers as soloists, Keshet Eilon’s programmes are internationally recognised for their excellence and impact.

Music lovers are invited to attend this one-of-a-kind concert and witness the future stars of classical music live on stage in La Nucia.
