Two former Duluth Huskies will be playing for the same team once again as they have inked new major league contracts.
Outfielder Bobby Blandford and infielder Michael Brooks signed with the Oakland Athletics earlier this week.
Blandford played for the Huskies last in 2022. In his collegiate career, Blandford wrapped up his senior season with the Fresno State Bulldogs in 2025.
Brooks played for the Huskies last in 2021, batting in 59 regular season games and earning himself a .256 batting average on 215 at bats.
Both players signed with the athletics as undrafted free agents.
