National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, during a working visit to the Balkan velayat, got acquainted with the progress of preparatory work for the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which will be held in August in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

During the inspection of the venue for cultural events planned within the framework of the upcoming large-scale Forum, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the progress of construction work. Within the framework of the preparation for the Conference, large-scale work on the improvement and development of the coastal infrastructure continues at an accelerated pace in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone.

For the ceremonial holding of cultural events, including concerts, modern conditions are created: LED screens and interactive fountains with lighting are installed, which will provide an amazing atmosphere for the events.

“The upcoming celebrations will significantly strengthen the cultural bridges between the countries by presenting the achievements of friendly nations,” Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized the importance of a scientifically based approach to the implementation of work processes, guided by the folk wisdom “Measure seven times, cut once.” The upcoming celebrations should leave unforgettable memories for the Forum participants, he said, giving relevant recommendations.

Speaking about the significance of the upcoming Conference, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted the need for a comprehensive approach at all stages of preparatory work, including providing parking spaces for participants’ vehicles.

Particular attention was paid to careful preparation for holding a high-level exhibition of national dishes, for which the National Leader of the Turkmen people gave a number of recommendations.

The picturesque shores of the Caspian Sea regularly host international meetings, dialogues, forums, concerts and festivals, which play a huge role in bringing political-diplomatic, economic and cultural-humanitarian relations between the peoples of the world to a new level. The ceremonial events of the upcoming Forum are aimed at significantly expanding the relations of independent neutral Turkmenistan with the states of the planet and popularizing the national heritage, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan comments.
