Samay Raina is back with ‘Still Alive and Unfiltered’ India tour after Latent controversy
Popular comedian Samay Raina is back in the spotlight, and this time, he’s hitting the stage with a brand-new stand-up tour titled ‘Samay Raina: Still Alive And Unfiltered.’ This marks his first India tour since he faced public criticism earlier this year for his involvement in the controversial YouTube show ‘India’s Got Latent.’
The comedian made the big announcement on Instagram, exciting fans across the country. His tour kicks off on August 15 in Bengaluru, where he will perform for three nights. After that, he’s headed to Hyderabad on August 23 and 24, followed by Mumbai on August 30.
The tour continues in Kolkata on September 6 and 7, Chennai on September 19 and 20, and Pune from September 26 to 28. The final stop will be Delhi, where he will perform on October 3, 4, and 5.

Samay shared a booking link in his post, saying, “India tour live now on @bookmyshowin.” Within an hour, his fans responded with massive enthusiasm, leading him to post, “The love is unreal. We have sold 40,000 tickets in an hour for the tour. That’s a record. Thank you so much for the love, we will bring the house down.”
This India tour follows his successful international shows, which began in Koln (Germany) on June 5. It wrapped up in Sydney on July 20. He performed across Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
However, his return to Indian stages comes on the heels of a rough patch. Earlier this year, Samay was named in an FIR (First Information Report) along with content creators Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Chanchlani, and Ranveer Allahbadia.
The group faced backlash after a clip from their YouTube show ‘India’s Got Latent’ went viral. The joke, cracked by Ranveer, was called out by many as obscene and inappropriate.
