Audley Travel Adds New Tours in Europe & Asia
Audley Travel announced the expansion of its advisor program, now offering service for trips to India, Tanzania, Japan, the U.K. and southwest France.
Audley Travel, which recently launched a travel advisor campaign, is a custom tour operator that specializes in FIT itineraries.
The new offerings in Europe and Asia include experiences and activities such as history, trekking, wildlife tracking, new gateways and luxury rail.
In India, travelers can experience wildlife like never before: Audley Travel’s custom trip includes stays in areas like Delhi, Nimmu, Uleytopko, Nurla, Leh, Nubra Valley. While exploring the region via safari, guests can stay at the six-room Drenmo Lodge, the first-ever lodge in India offering an opportunity to see the Himalayan Brown Bear.
Audley Travel’s Tanzania offering is designed around a trek in the Great Rift Valley. In addition to experiencing the area’s iconic pink flamingoes, Ngorongoro volcanoes and Empakai crater, guests will learn about local tribes and customs from Maasai Warriors.
In Japan, Audley Travel will now offer Nagoya in Aichi Prefecture. The region’s central location makes it an ideal add-on to other Japanese itineraries, with excellent rail connections. Audley’s Japan specialists say it is a great alternative to Takayama for that “traditional Japan” experience.
Audley Travel has expanded its presence in France as well, adding bespoke trips to the Basque country, Pyrenees and French Catalonia. Activities include kayaking, hiking, and cycling along the Mediterranean. The tour operator has a number of sample itineraries to showcase the region, with different themed interests, such as food tours or castle explorations.
Finally, clients can now pair a rail journey around Cornwall with a trip to southwest England, thanks to the new Belmond Britannic Explorer, the U.K.’s first luxury sleeper train. The Belmond Britannic Explorer departs from London Victoria, and holds just a select 36 guests in 18 cabins.
