The Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa), has donated a fully-completed administrative block worth N250 million to Al-Qalam University’s College of Allied Health Sciences, in Katsina under its Tertiary Education Grant Scheme (TEGs).

The scheme is designed to bridge infrastructure gap and foster academic excellence across tertiary institutions in Africa. So far, 30 institutions have benefitted with grant awards ranging from ₦250 million to ₦2 billion.

Speaking at the event, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Nasiru Musa Yauri, thanked the management of ASR Africa for finding the institution worthy of the donation.
