Burma Burma Expands with Three New Restaurants in Delhi-NCR, ETHospitalityWorld
In a city that lives large and loves to dine out, every meal is a mood and every outing, an experience. That’s exactly what Burma Burma brings to the table: a flavour-packed experience that complements Delhi’s unmatched spirit. As a tribute to this vibrant, welcoming and ever-curious city, Burma Burma, (part of Hunger Pangs Pvt Ltd.) India’s only pan-India Burmese restaurant and tea room launches three new restaurants simultaneously across the Delhi-NCR region: at DLF Promenade in Vasant Kunj, at Worldmark 3 in Aerocity, and Worldmark 65 at Gurugram. With these additions, Burma Burma now serves its award-winning Burmese cuisine across six locations in Delhi-NCR, bringing its distinctive flavours closer to guests no matter where they live or work.
“Over the years, diners in Delhi have embraced Burma Burma with warmth and enthusiasm, and that continued support inspires us to grow with the city. With three new locations now open across vibrant neighbourhoods in Delhi-NCR, we’re deepening our presence in the region. Whether it’s a quick weekday bite or a long, flavourful weekend meal, our evolving Burmese menu is designed to meet Delhi’s appetite for variety and discovery. Each of our spaces reflects our commitment to offering not just a meal, but a meaningful experience-one that resonates with the city’s dynamic spirit and ever-curious palate,” said Ankit Gupta, co-founder Burma Burma.Spanning 6,302 square feet across two levels, the 110-seater Burma Burma at Worldmark 3, Aerocity marks a striking new chapter in the brand’s evolving design story. Rooted in cultural symbolism and elevated by contemporary expression, the space draws inspiration from one of Burma’s most sacred and awe-inspiring landmarks — the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, also known as the Golden Rock. Balanced precariously on a granite boulder and covered in gold leaf, the Golden Rock Pagoda is a symbol of both spiritual elevation and architectural wonder. This sense of balance and craftsmanship is artfully reinterpreted in the Aerocity space. Nestled in the heart of one of Delhi’s most vibrant shopping districts, the 94-seater Burma Burma at DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj spans 2,017 square feet and pays homage to one of Yangon’s most iconic colonial landmarks -The Strand Hotel. An enduring symbol of Burma’s Imperial past, The Strand is a living archive of Burma’s colonial past and contemporary spirit. At this location, that legacy is brought to life through a design narrative that reinterprets colonial-era charm with modern finesse. The interiors carry historical references at every turn — from the flooring pattern that reimagines traditional colonial tiles to the tea bar clad in cane panelling and detailed wooden mouldings, the space evokes nostalgia while remaining relevant and refined.
Located in one of Gurugram’s newest and most dynamic lifestyle hubs, the 96-seater Burma Burma at Worldmark 65 spans 3,238 square feet, and features a spacious indoor dining area, an intimate private dining room, and a dedicated tea bar. The design takes inspiration from Mandalay- Burma’s second-largest city and a revered centre of Buddhist art, architecture, and spirituality. Drawing from Mandalay’s iconic landmarks – the Hsinbyume Pagoda, Jade Pagoda, and Kuthodaw Pagoda – the space comes alive with layered textures and sculptural elements that reflect the region’s spiritual and architectural richness.
This new chapter in Delhi-NCR follows the success of the brands locations in Select CityWalk–Saket, DLF Cyber Hub–Gurugram, and DLF Mall of India–Noida, and reflects their growing footprint across India from Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad to Kolkata and Ahmedabad, said a company release.
