Youth Ministry, Export Bahrain wraps up Exporters Championship

The Bahrain Ministry of Youth Affairs and Export Bahrain have concluded the ‘Exporters Championship for the Youth,’ held as part of the vibrant Youth City 2030 initiative.

The program brought together more than 107 young participants, who engaged in a series of specialized workshops that covered crucial aspects of entrepreneurship.

These workshops focused on key areas such as product development, international marketing, market selection, export readiness, and logistics, all designed to equip the participants with the skills needed to thrive in the global marketplace.

Rabab Khalaf, Planning and Market Intelligence Manager at Export Bahrain, underscored the championship’s role in strengthening Bahrain’s export entrepreneurship ecosystem and supporting economic diversification. She said that the initiative focused on empowering young entrepreneurs with the key skills needed for global market entry and export-driven innovation.

“The Exporters Championship For the Youth represents a strategic step towards building a comprehensive ecosystem that empowers and supports young entrepreneurs in the export sector. Through this fruitful collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs, we are contributing to the development of a strong foundation for export-driven entrepreneurship aligned with Bahrain’s efforts for economic diversification and enhanced global trade positioning.”

‘The Socks Store’ emerged as the overall champion. This initiative highlights the ongoing efforts to empower young entrepreneurs and foster their development, while also reinforcing Bahrain’s commitment to positioning itself as a leading regional hub for international trade and innovation.

The championship not only served as a platform for youth to showcase their innovative ideas but also reinforced Bahrain’s commitment to fostering a dynamic export-driven economy, in line with the nation’s long-term vision for economic diversification and global trade positioning.
