Marketing Academy to launch at SBC Summit 2025 with Gary Vaynerchuk AMA
Serial entrepreneur and marketing executive Gary Vaynerchuk will headline the launch of the new Marketing Academy at SBC Summit 2025, opening the first in a series of Tech Academies aimed at professionals across industries.
The inaugural Marketing Academy, part of the broader educational initiative by SBC, will debut at the MEO Arena’s Sala Tejo on Sept. 17 with an exclusive Ask Me Anything (AMA) session led by Vaynerchuk. The event draws on themes from his bestselling book Day Trading Attention and will focus on strategies for capturing and converting attention across digital channels.
SBC is rolling out four day-long Tech Academies at the 2025 Summit – covering AI, Marketing, Web 3.0 & Blockchain, plus one unannounced track – in what the organiser calls its “most ambitious educational programme to date.”
“With Tech Academies, we’re making an ambitious upgrade to SBC’s educational programme,” said Rasmus Sojmark, SBC CEO and Founder. “It’s a new layer of value for attendees, giving them direct access to world-class expertise they can take home and apply where it matters most.”
Following Vaynerchuk’s AMA, the Marketing Academy will feature a strategic masterclass called “The Fundamentals of Marketing: A Strategy that Makes Your CFO Lean in”, by Thomas Balling Rasmussen, former Betsson Group Marketing Director, focused on building CFO-aligned marketing strategies that shift from demand response to demand creation.
The programme also includes an advanced SEO session titled “From Myths to Methods,” delivered by a panel of experts from Gainchanger, Searcharoo and Craig Campbell SEO, as well as sessions on influencer marketing and brand protection. PR expert Edie Lush will lead an AMA, “Communication is Everything: Hear from a Leading PR Professional,” on managing brand identity and crisis communications in an always-on media environment.
While hosted within the SBC Summit, the Tech Academies are designed to serve a broad professional audience, not just those in gaming.
“We’re building something that goes beyond the gaming industry,” said Sojmark. The Tech Academies are about equipping professionals from all sectors with the tools, insights, and connections they need to thrive in a fast-moving digital world. Whether you’re in gaming, marketing, tech, or something entirely different — there’s something here for you.”
Academies are for Expo+ and VIP Event Pass holders only. You can RSVP to attend the tech academies here.
