Principal from Tanzania, Africa visits Jackson elementary school

JACKSON, Tenn. — One local elementary school is visited by a special guest from across the globe.

Sarah Sabai visited Nova Elementary School in Jackson Monday to share her love for education.

Sabai is a principal in Tanzania, Africa.

She shared how her school in Africa is so much different from those here in the states.

“I don’t teach 100 students but, in my school, I have 260 children. I teach kindergarten class, and I have 26 children in my class. My school is a private school, but for the government schools that holds like more then 1,000 children and 200 children in the same class room with one teacher. So that’s different,” Sabai said.

This is Sabais first time visiting the U.S.
