Jamestown’s girls soccer season came to an end with a 2-1 loss to West Seneca in a Section VI Class AAA quarterfinal at Strider Field.
The fourth-seeded Red & Green led 1-0 at halftime on Kinsley Berg’s unassisted tally on a direct kick in the 28th minute.
But No. 5 West Seneca “capitalized on a couple of mistakes in the second half,” according to Jamestown head coach Jason Kathman to come away with the win.
JaLeiya Glover made eight saves in net for Jamestown.
West Seneca will travel to No. 1 Lancaster for a 6 p.m. semifinal Tuesday.
