Central Bank of India gets approval from RBI to set up IFSC Banking Unit in GIFT City
State-owned Central Bank of India has received approval of Reserve Bank of India with its letter dated 11th August, 2025 to setup an IFSC Banking Unit (IBU) in GIFT City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
The opening of IBU in Gift City will be significant milestone in Bank’s growth story. This development will benefit us to expand our international banking business and also enable us to provide specialized banking services to our customers.

The IBU will provide the Bank to access International financial markets and allow delivering complete range of products to its corporate clients with foreign currency funding requirements.
The Bank will offer suite of services including foreign currency loans, trade finance solutions, treasury and risk management products and enhanced convenient banking solutions to its customers.
Shares of Central Bank of India are closed at Rs 36.10, higher by 0.56% at BSE
