Montclair Film Unveils Vibrant Artwork for 14th Annual Festival

Montclair Film has unveiled the artwork for its 14th annual festival — a bright, joyful campaign by Philadelphia artist and creative entrepreneur Kariem Young. The poster showcases Young’s signature pop art style and playful, colorful characters, capturing the feeling of people from different perspectives coming together to share in a collective experience.

Based in Philadelphia, Young is the creative force behind Loveville—a social impact art brand using bold, whimsical designs to spread messages of love, empathy and unity. He blends traditional brushwork with digital elements to create work that feels both modern and deeply human.

As a tattooist, Young brings the same intentionality and emotion to skin as he does to large-scale projects. He’s partnered with brands like Amazon, Made in America Festival, Philadelphia International Airport and Tiny Room for Elephants. Young uses creativity as a vehicle for joy, healing and cultural connection.

“In Loveville, every splash of color is a little act of love. I’m thrilled to bring that spirit to the Montclair Film Festival, sharing art that connects hearts and communities,” said Young.

“Kariem’s bright, colorful characters exude the positivity and joy that we all need more of right now. They all come together around a common love – in our case, a love of film. We can’t wait to see their energy throughout Montclair this fall,” said Jill Montague, Montclair Film’s marketing director.
