UK–India Alumni Networking meet fosters collaboration, future opportunities
Jamshedpur: The UK–India Alumni Networking Meet, brought together distinguished alumni, industry leaders, educationists, and thought leaders to discuss emerging opportunities and strengthen collaborative ties between the UK and India.
Hosted under the banner of the British Council , Kolkata ,the event served as a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas, sharing success stories, and exploring avenues for professional growth, research partnerships, and community initiatives.
In his welcome address President Jagan Santra emphasized the role of the Jamshedpur chapter in building educational and cultural bridges.
Secretary Ashu Tiwary informed that “This network is not just about experience sharing—it’s about creating pathways for innovation and collaboration.”
The evening’s discussions focused on future opportunities in education, sustainable development, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship. Participants also explored ways to leverage the collective expertise of alumni for societal benefit, including mentorship programs, cross-border collaborations, and joint research projects.
Distinguished guests, including Debaanjan Chakrabarti, Director East & Northeast, British Council and Joydeep Bordolai, Sr Manager were present. ABS members lauded the initiative as a step toward deepening UK–India relations and fostering a spirit of mutual growth.
The meet concluded with renewed commitments from members to actively contribute towards shaping impactful projects and initiatives in the coming year.
