Georgia football’s 2025 homecoming game will be held Oct. 4 against Kentucky, the University of Georgia Athletic Association announced Thursday.
The matchup between the Bulldogs and Wildcats is set for a noon kickoff, and the game will be broadcast on either ABC or ESPN. It will be Georgia’s fourth of seven games at Sanford Stadium this season.
Georgia has an all-time record of 83-18-2 on homecoming weekend, and has not lost a homecoming game since 2016, when it was unexpectedly defeated by Vanderbilt. Georgia has also defeated Kentucky in homecoming games twice during that stretch, including a 30-13 win in front of a sold-out Sanford Stadium crowd in 2021.
This contest will mark the 79th matchup in a series that Georgia leads 64-12-2. Georgia also holds a 15-game win streak against Kentucky, which last defeated the Bulldogs in 2010.
