A Budget-Friendly AI Plan for Indian Users
OpenAI rolled out an affordable ChatGPT option for Indian users, dubbed ChatGPT Go. The plan is the right choice for users who are looking for extended access to ChatGPT’s AI tools without paying the higher cost of ChatGPT Plus.
The ChatGPT Go has made its debut in India, offering plans that aim to expand to global markets soon. This is ChatGPT’s low-cost alternative in order to bring more powerful features at a more affordable price.
ChatGPT Go Price in India
ChatGPT Go is priced at Rs 399 per month in India, which proves to be significantly cheaper than ChatGPT Plus, which is available at Rs 1999 per month. The plan can be accessed across web, iOS, Android, and desktop versions of ChatGPT.
The tech giant has made the payment method easy by allowing users to use UPI or credit cards. The price for the ChatGPT Go will be displayed in Indian rupees. Nevertheless, the API usage and its features are not bundled into the subscriptions, and hence, they will be billed separately.
How to Get ChatGPT Go
To get started, users simply need to log in to ChatGPT, head to their profile, and select the Upgrade Plan option. From there, they can choose the “Try Go” plan and make the payment instantly.
ChatGPT Go Features
ChatGPT Go is equipped with the advanced features that were previously limited or restricted in the free tier. Users will be able to access 10 times higher message limits, along with more file updates. In addition, with the ChatGPT Go subscription, users will also get access to enhanced image generation capabilities.
ChatGPT Go also enables longer memory, meaning the AI can retain context from past conversations for more personalised responses.
Access to GPT-5
One of the striking features of ChatGPT GO’s subscription is that the plan also includes access to GPT-5, the company’s flagship model. GPT-5 is embedded with advanced data analysis tools for handling spreadsheets, documents, and code. Users can also organise projects, tasks, and even build their custom GPTs.
The plan does not include access to Sora, OpenAI’s video generation model, or the Codex agent for coding-related tasks, which remain exclusive to the Plus plan.
