A star of a new film now available on Prime Video is barely recognisable from their role in the Netflix hit, Stranger Things.
The Map That Leads To You is now streaming on the retail giant’s platform from today (20 August). The plot revolves around Heather, a young woman embarking on a European adventure with her best mates before settling into her meticulously planned life.
When she encounters Jack, an enigmatic and captivating stranger, their immediate spark sets off an emotional journey neither anticipated. As their bond deepens, secrets, life choices, and concealed truths will challenge their connection—and transform her life in ways she never envisaged.
The film is directed by Lasse Hallström, who also directed the movie Dear John. It’s an adaptation of the novel of the same name by JP Monninger, described as a story about love, destiny, and the bravery to choose your own path.

Heading the cast is KJ Apa, known for his role as Archie Andrews in Riverdale. Alongside him is Outer Banks and Glass Onion star Madelyn Cline, reports the Mirror.
However, Cline previously had a now overlooked role in one of Netflix’s biggest shows, Stranger Things. It’s not surprising that some fans don’t immediately recognise her, not just because it was a supporting role but also because the star was almost unrecognisable.
She portrayed Tina, a character who featured in the second series of the hit programme scheduled to conclude later this year. She makes appearances in two episodes – the opening instalment entitled MADMAX and the second episode called Trick Or Treat, Freak.

Tina was a pupil at Hawkins High School who threw a Halloween party at her residence in October 1984. She’s depicted as noticing and becoming one of numerous girls instantly drawn to Billy Hargrove upon his arrival.
Billy even turns up at her gathering, alongside many other familiar pupils from the core cast. This encompasses Nancy, Steve, Billy, Tommy H and Jonathan. Tina is shown greeting her visitors whilst dressed as Madonna from her Like A Virgin music video.

According to FanWire, her minor part in Stranger Things, whilst simultaneously working on The Originals, persuaded Cline to abandon university and chase her acting ambitions.
She remarked: “I was in college driving back and forth from Myrtle Beach to Atlanta to work on The Originals and Stranger Things, and I realised that something had to give. I wanted to at least try to pursue it full-time. So, I ended up dropping out, packing my car up, and leaving for LA.”
