Gov. Aumentado turns-over Farm-to-Market roads funded by World Bank

Bohol Governor Aris Aumentado led the formal turnover of the rehabilitated Campagao-Cabacnitan Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) in Bilar town.

Funded by the World Bank through the Department of Agriculture’s Philippine Rural Development Project, the 10.976 km. road was completed last July 25, 2025 with a total cost of P187,571,624.78.

Meanwhile, the rehabilitated Pondol-Candaigan Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) in Loon has been formally turned over in a blessing and ribbon cutting ceremony.

“As envisioned in the Strategic Change Agenda on resilient agriculture, this will help farmers transport their agricultural crops including bananas, rice, coconut, mango, rootcrops, corn, and vegetables,” said Gov. Aumentado.

This also supports Bohol’s designation as the country’s first and only UNESCO Global Geopark, which promotes sustainable development.

The project, costing P100,596,112.84 with BSP and Company, Inc. as the contractor, was funded by the World Bank, through the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) Philippine Rural Development Project.

The Bohol Provincial Government, led by the Governor, acts as the proponent agency, while the Provincial Engineer’s Office serves as the implementing unit.
