The new promotional video for the Diva Denia Music Pride 2025 opens with a striking question: What are flags for? The answer is clear – while some may divide, others bring people together, fostering unity, friendship and love. Denia has chosen the latter, the ones that also symbolise joy, celebration and pride, with the rainbow flag as their emblem.
Produced by the local council, run by PSPV and Compromís, the audiovisual captures breathtaking drone shots and dynamic scenes from the city’s Pride Day, held on June 28. On that occasion, a spectacular 30-metre flag was unveiled, and it will once again be displayed during this year’s event.

Full programme
The festivities will open at 7pm on Saturday with the LGTBI+ Associations Fair, bringing together seven groups from across Alicante and Valencia provinces. The fair, which runs until 10pm, will once again feature family and children’s workshops, while at 8.30pm associations will deliver the official proclamation and unfurl the 30-metre flag first seen at Pride Day in June.
This year’s event also introduces Divas Diversas, a dedicated accessible area for people with functional and cognitive diversity, complete with adapted facilities and support points to ensure a safe and inclusive experience for all.
Alongside installations such as the Wings of Diversity and meet-and-greet opportunities with performers, the evening’s entertainment will begin with DJ sets and dance shows before the main gala at 9pm. Hosted by Jose Mola, the line-up will feature Pitita, winner of Drag Race España 3, local talent Violeta Moore, Futurachicapop, Michelle Vintage, Cristel Rogers and La Villaescusa, celebrating diva music from the 1970s to today.
The celebrations will conclude with DJ Luiggi, taking the party through until midnight.
