BTS ARMY Vs TXT MOA Controversy EXPLAINED: Why Are Fans Of Labelmates Clashing Over ‘Vandalism’ Allegation Of BigHit Music’s Building

BTS fandom ARMYs and TXT’s supporters MOAs are at loggerheads, and the reason is BigHit Music’s old building. A slew of photos have revealed that Tomorrow X Together (TXT) fans have covered the messages written by BTS followers on the structure, infuriating the fanbase. The building is considered historic and emotional for the ARMYs since it has remained the training ground for BTS for several years.

It all started when on August 25, several photos started floating on social media. It showed the words “BTS” and “ARMY” being overwritten by “TXT” on the walls of the building that used to house BigHit Music, known at that time as BigHit Entertainment. ARMYs were quick to call out fans of BTS’ labelmates TXT for covering the messages with their own artwork, instead of leaving their own messages. The new graffiti explicitly covers group name BTS with TXT and ARMY with MOA.

TXT fans overwrite ARMYs message

The photos went viral and received a massive backlash, blaming MOAs for overwriting sentimental ARMYs messages and sparking a fandom dispute online. Many even pointed at how TXT had not yet debuted while that building was in use by BTS.

ARMYs are furious with MOAs

One ARMY wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “A TXT fan completely covered a wall filled with BTS graffiti with green spray paint. What she covered was not just graffiti but the sincere hearts of the fans. I think if the ARMY went to the spot to take a photo, they would be very sad. I can’t understand.#BTS #TXT.” Another one wrote, “How impolite and stupid this is. A fan of TxT, a large area of graffiti, this wall has a lot of army’s messages from war-torn countries, and the original owner even deleted the apology post.#bighit #BTS #army #txt #moa”
