The entry-level iPhone 17 is expected to retain its launch price of roughly $799, while the higher-end variants are projected to become at least $50 more expensive. The newly designed iPhone 17 Air — positioned as the replacement for the Plus model — may debut with a slimmer 5.5mm chassis and a single-lens rear camera, starting at about $899. This places it neatly between the standard and Pro versions in terms of pricing.

At the premium end, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are forecast to see price tags rise to around $1,049 and $1,249, respectively. Analysts view these adjustments as Apple’s strategy to balance out escalating tariffs and production expenses.

In the Indian market, prices are likely to climb even for the baseline edition. Reports indicate that the regular iPhone 17 could launch at nearly Rs 89,900, marking a considerable increase compared to the previous generation. The redesigned iPhone 17 Air is speculated to carry an estimated price of Rs 99,990. For flagship buyers, the iPhone 17 Pro may begin at about Rs 1,34,999, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max could command a premium of around Rs 1,64,990.
