OnePlus is gearing up for another exciting launch cycle and this time all eyes are on the OnePlus 15 series. As per reports, the lineup will first debut in China this October, followed by an India launch in January next year. The company is also expected to bring the OnePlus Ace 6 to its home market around the same time, which will later arrive in India as the OnePlus 15R. Essentially, this will be a rebranded version tailored for Indian buyers. Here’s everything you should know about the upcoming OnePlus 15R.

The OnePlus 15R is rumoured to pack impressive hardware upgrades over its predecessor. The device may feature a flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a165Hz refresh rate and the smartphone is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the same flagship chipset used in the recently launched OnePlus 13. Battery life could see a major jump, as leaks suggest a 7000 mAh battery, a huge improvement from the OnePlus 13R’s 6000 mAh unit.

OnePlus 15R Camera Upgrades

On the camera front, the smartphone is expected to stick to a triple-camera system similar to the 13R, which featured a 50-megapixel main shooter, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. However, according to reports, OnePlus may upgrade the sensors this time. The phone may also arrive with IP68 and IP69 ratings, a step up from the 13R’s IP65 water and dust resistance.

OnePlus 15R Price In India and Release Date (Expected)

The OnePlus 13R launched at Rs. 42,999 in India and early reports suggest the OnePlus 15R could start at Rs. 44,999. However, this is speculative for now and final pricing details will only be confirmed closer to launch. If leaks are accurate, the OnePlus 15R is expected to launch in India in January 2026, shortly after the OnePlus 15 series makes its debut in China this October.
