Lollapalooza India 2026 is set to return for its fourth edition on January 24-25 at Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai. This time, the iconic nu-metal band Linkin Park, revered by the kids of the 1990s and early 2000s, will perform in India for the first time.
The band, known for hits like ‘Papercut’, ‘Numb’, and ‘In the End’, have reportedly included Lollapalooza India as a stop for their From Zero World Tour.
Linkin Park’s world tour kicks off on Friday in Omaha, US, and will end in Switzerland in June 2026. The tour will feature Emily Armstrong, who takes on the mantle from the legendary Chester Bennington, following his untimely passing. Drummer Colin Brittain and live guitarist Alex Federer would also join mainstays Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave Farrell, and Joe Hahn.
This two-day festival in India, with eight hours on each day, has yet to announce the exact timings and detailed schedule. But by going by what has happened the past three times, the gates are expected to open by 2 pm, with performances starting a bit after 5 pm.
This time, the tickets for Lolla India are in four categories. General Access or GA is the most inexpensive one. It is best suited for a first-time festival goer.
Apart from them, the other passes are Lolla Comfort, Lolla VIP, and Lolla Platinum.
The first round of tickets went on sale on August 28 2025, at 12 pm. In case you missed it on the exclusive ticketing partner BookMyShow, you can avail the next round of tickets on Friday morning, August 29 2025, at 9.30 am HERE.
But be warned, with each round or “phase”, the ticket prices go up.
For instance, in the RuPay Presale (for RuPay credit card holders) that went live on August 26, GA tickets ranged between Rs 6000 and Rs 7000. By the time Thursday’s pre-sale was over, the GA tickets had hit Rs 8250. All of these are exclusive of taxes and platform fees, mind you.
Ticketing is pretty simple. Except Lolla India sends you the physical kit—including the festival wristband—to your address. If you are outside India, “use the pin/zip code 123456 to digitally make your purchase and collect your wristbands” at the event location, according to BookMyShow.
The ones who filled out the local addresses would get the kit delivered to their address, mostly a week before the event.
Despite Mumbai being a pet-friendly event city, Lollapalooza is a no-pet zone. “As much as we love our furry friends, unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate pets at the festival,” says the organisers. So, make sure you find a pet sitter for your little ones.
For the kids, Lolla India would be a wonderfully new experience. Children up to the age of 5 accompanying ticket holders can enter the festival for free. Kids above the age of 5 (born before 24th January 2021) need to buy the same category of ticket as the accompanying adult.
Mumbai has a great set of taxis and autorickshaw networks, including ride-hailing services such as Uber. However, as a regular music festival goer, taking the local train to the Mahalaxmi local station and then taking a short 10-minute walk to the venue is the easiest—and sometimes the fastest.

Lolla General Access
The 2-Day General Admission ticket allows you admittance to Lolla India for both days of the festival and includes access to:

Air-conditioned restrooms.
Dedicated bar with drinks for purchase.
Curated food stalls for purchase exclusive to Lolla Comfort.
On-site Lolla Comfort hospitality staff.
Lolla VIP
The 2-Day Lolla VIP ticket allows you admittance to Lolla India for both days of the festival and includes all the amenities of GA, along with:
Dedicated on-field viewing at the 2 main stages.
Access to the Lolla VIP Lounge with shade and seating (first-come, first-served; for rest only)
Direct access from the lounge to the on-field VIP viewing area at Main Stage 1.
Dedicated bar with drinks for purchase.
Curated food stalls for purchase exclusive to Lolla VIP.
Access to dedicated, air-conditioned restrooms

If you are a first-time festival goer, Lollapalooza India offers a memorable experience. It is the Indian offshoot of a major international music festival, and the event always delivers. In its first edition in 2023, Lolla India featured popular band Imagine Dragons and rock majors Greta Van Fleet, alongside AP Dhillon, Zhu, Japanese Breakfast, and more… In 2024, Sting, Jonas Brothers, Halsey, and OneRepublic came to India. And in 2025, they brought none other than Green Day and Shawn Mendes, among others.
