Everyone with a Netflix subscription knows just how difficult it can be to find something new to watch on the streaming platform.
You can spend your entire evening scrolling through its various categories and still not come across anything that peaks your interest enough to click on it.
Instead, some users end up giving up altogether and switch it off before settling down for the night with a new movie or series to keep them entertained.
However, to help make things easier on its users, Netflix-Codes has shared a list of secret codes you can enter into its search bar to bring up the ‘best’ titles on the platform.
Sharing the little-known secret on Reddit, one user said: “A cool guide of Netflix codes to search all genres of movies and shows not shown within the platform. Wow!”
Commenting on this post, one user said: “Ohhhhh, can’t wait to try!”
Another user added: “So I search a code and it results movies? The answer is yes. Holy smokes! This may be one of the most useful Reddit posts I’ve seen in years! Thanks!”

A statement from Netflix-Codes reads: “You probably know that Netflix is using a really strange system to categorise it films and TV shows. Indeed, there isn’t any categories tab… We have the solution, with this site, you will be able to find categories by a little code.
“Once you’ve found the code for the category that you’re searching, you just have to put the code in the search bar or you can replace the xx in this link with the code or simply click on the code.”
