High Roller Technologies names Seth Young as incoming CEO in planned leadership transition
High Roller Technologies has announced that Seth Young will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer effective September 1, succeeding Ben Clemes in a planned leadership transition. The company, known for operating the High Roller and Fruta online casino brands, confirmed the change on Thursday, highlighting the move as part of its wider growth strategy.
Clemes, who has served as CEO since 2024, is stepping down to focus on his family. During his tenure, High Roller expanded its presence in the iGaming market and saw the growth of its flagship brands, the company said.
“It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as High Roller’s CEO, and my decision to step away comes at a time when the company is healthy,” said Clemes. “I’m proud of what we have accomplished together, and I’m confident that Seth is the right leader to guide High Roller forward. I’m looking forward to focusing more on my family while knowing that the business is in strong hands.”
Young, who most recently held the position of Chief Strategy Officer at High Roller, has been working closely with Clemes and the leadership team to ensure a seamless transition, according to a press release. He brings over two decades of experience in the gaming industry, including roles in both land-based and online gaming enterprises.
“I want to thank Ben for his dedication, his achievements, and his thoughtful approach to this transition,” said Young. “Because of his leadership, the company is positioned for growth and success, and I’m excited to continue building on the foundation he built to drive future growth and value for our shareholders, employees, and customers.”
Chairman of the Board Michael Cribari expressed appreciation for Clemes’ contributions to the company’s trajectory. “Ben has been an outstanding leader who guided High Roller through critical growth phases and positioned the Company for long-term success,” Cribari said.
“We are grateful for his service and for ensuring a seamless transition. We’re thrilled to welcome Seth to the role of CEO with full confidence in his ability to lead High Roller into the future,” he added.
Young’s background includes a three-year tenure as Chief Innovation Officer at PointsBet, where he led strategic development efforts in fundraising, partnerships, regulatory affairs, product initiatives, and M&A.
Following that role, he continued with the company in an advisory capacity through early 2023. His previous experience also includes positions such as Chief Operating Officer at FSG Digital and Executive Director of Online Gaming at Foxwoods Resort Casino.
He currently serves on the boards of several companies, including Kinectify, EQL Games, and Kindbridge Behavioral Health. In 2018, he was recognized with the Innovation Group’s Emerging Leaders of Gaming Award and was named to Global Gaming Business Magazine’s 40 Under 40 list.
Young holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with minors in Internet Studies and Legal Studies from Brandeis University. He also attended Harvard Business School for executive education in Mergers and Acquisitions, Strategy, and Post-Merger Management.
