The Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia kicked off its India outreach with Business Matching sessions in Kolkata and Bengaluru ahead of the trade show. These sessions connected 29 Indonesian travel businesses with Indian buyers, setting the stage for new partnerships.
Dedi Ahmad Kurnia, Assistant Deputy for International Tourism Marketing, said “India is our fifth largest source market”. He also added “Our presence at ITB India is focused on building deeper connections with Indian travelers”.
From September 2 to 4 at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, the Wonderful Indonesia Pavilion will host 20 leading sellers from Bali, Jakarta, and Yogyakarta. The pavilion will also promote Indonesia’s 10 Priority Destinations, including Lake Toba, Borobudur, Raja Ampat, and Labuan Bajo, as well as three Regenerative Tourism spots like Bali, Jakarta, and Batam Bintan.
