Rams News: If you’re reading this, there is NFL football tonight

If you are reading this, then you know the truth: The NFL season officially starts tonight when the Dallas Cowboys take on the Philadelphia Eagles. Philly will be appreciating what they achieved last year, a Super Bowl win, but they’ll also be looking towards winning another. Can the Birds repeat? I think it’s very possible.

The Cowboys just traded Micah Parsons, a top player on defense in the league, and now they look to make it work with what they have, but unless Dallas surprises the league and maybe themselves too, they will be looking forward to next year more so than enjoying this year. We’ll see. I can be wrong, and the Cowboys could end up one of the best teams in the league. Why not?

We have waited awhile to really shout: ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!?!?!?!?!

Now we are here. Enjoy today. Get your fantasy teams ready, get your popcorn ready and don’t party too hard tonight, we still have work on Friday and a rare (for now) Friday night game featuring the Kansas City Chiefs and (that other team from L.A. formerly from San Diego) the Los Angeles Chargers. Save your strength. It’s going to be a wild weekend.

“It looks like Houston Texans safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson has taken a major step in the right direction when it comes to his potential return to play for this weekend’s season opener on the road vs. the Los Angeles Rams.

On Wednesday afternoon, Gardner-Johnson made his return to Texans’ practice after missing close to a month due to his knee injury suffered during training camp– a great sign towards the veteran safety’s potential availability during Sunday’s contest vs. the Rams.“

It’s not put together by the coaching staff, which is why it’s classified as “unofficial,” but it does give us an idea of who the starters are and who the backups will be. Most positions come with no surprises whatsoever, but others have some interesting listings.“

“When Los Angeles Rams receivers coach Eric Yarber closely evaluated Davante Adams’ 2024 season before the 32-year-old became a free agent in March, he came to a clear conclusion: He’s still as explosive as he was in his best seasons with the Green Bay Packers.

Shortly after Yarber’s film study, the Rams inked Adams to a two-year deal. The early returns have been promising, with Adams putting his considerable skills on display during training camp practices as he appears primed for a big year ahead of Sunday’s regular-season opening matchup against the Houston Texans.“
