Business chic! Kate Middleton is elegant in Alexander McQueen and Chanel as she attends the Women’s Rugby World Cup

Kate Middleton donned a smart blazer for the outing in London, pairing the tweed jacket with a simple shirt and a pair of black tailored trousers. She swept her hair into a bouncy blow dry, while she opted for a natural makeup look for the appearance. The look appeared to be perfectly matching with Prince William, who also opted for an open-necked shirt, blazer and black trousers for the outing. Kate and William have often chosen to coordinate their looks over the years, twinning in similar cuts and colours for a number of different engagements. The decision is often seen by royal watchers as a way of displaying unity between the couple.

During the outing, the couple toured the brand new gardens at the museum, with the future king and queen set to meet with young people learning how to improve biodiversity in urban areas. The gardens and National Education Nature Park programme are part of the Natural History Museum’s ambitious Urban Nature Movement, an initiative which aims to help people feel more connected to nature, more confident in their ability to protect it and more invested in a greener future. Kate, who is patron of the museum, appeared in high spirits during the visit, having long spoken of the importance of nature for mental health.

The couple are thought to have had a relaxing summer, with visits to Scotland and Greece with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. In the coming weeks, Kate and Prince William face a busy few months, with a move for their young family. It was recently confirmed that the Prince and Princess of Wales are upping sticks to Forest Lodge, the Grade II listed Georgian home within the 4,800-acre Windsor Great Park estate.
