‘Dashavatar’ box office collections day 3: Dilip Prabhavalkar’s film crosses Rs 4 cr; sees strong weekend growth | Marathi Movie News

Impressively, the film earned around Rs 2.4 crore on Sunday. With this steady upward trend, ‘Dashavatar’ has managed to cross Rs 4.37 crore in just three days. Although the collections may look small when compared to other films in Tamil, Telugu, or even Hindi, it’s indeed a huge feat for a Marathi movie.

Impressive occupancy across shows

‘Dashavatar’ enjoyed a healthy occupancy across Maharashtra. This was especially on Sunday, September 14, 2025.Reportedly, ‘Dashavatar’ had an overall 68.13% occupancy on its third day. Morning shows saw around 58.64%. The afternoon shows climbed to 67.60%. Evening shows witnessed the highest response at 78.42%. The night shows settled at 67.87% occupancy.

The film tells the story of Babuli Mestri, portrayed by veteran actor Dilip Prabhavalkar, a performer dedicated to the traditional Dashavatar theatre form that celebrates the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu.
