CRED and IndusInd Bank launch RuPay credit card with unconstrained rewards
IndusInd Bank and fintech platform CRED have announced the launch of the CRED IndusInd Bank RuPay Credit Card, designed to deliver flexible and expansive rewards for digital-first consumers.
The new co-branded card offers 5% rewards on all e-commerce spends and 1% rewards on offline transactions, including UPI-based CRED Scan and Pay. Customers can redeem points seamlessly across 500+ merchants, 2,000+ products, as well as flights and hotels through integrations with Ixigo and Expedia.
With zero joining fees and a quick two-minute digital onboarding, the card aims to capture the affluent and e-commerce–savvy market. IndusInd Bank described the partnership as a natural fit, combining its financial expertise with CRED’s highly curated, creditworthy customer base.
CRED highlighted that the initiative brings flexibility to members who usually juggle multiple cards and restrictive loyalty programs. RuPay, too, emphasized that the product reflects the aspirations of India’s digital-first consumers, noting features like credit cards on UPI are expanding nationwide access.
Industry experts believe the card could set a new benchmark in lifestyle-centric rewards, merging convenience, flexibility, and premium experiences for India’s high-spending digital population
