Tata Steel has injected ₹4,054.66 crore in T Steel Holdings (TSHP) by subscribing 457.7 crore equity shares. Each share has a face value of $0.1005. The fresh stake buy has increased Tata Steel’s total investment in TSHP for 2025 to $460 million.

Newgen Software Technologies (UK) Ltd, wholly-owned subsidiary of Newgen Software Technologies Ltd, has inked a €4.22-million deal with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), to provide services such as cloud hosting, software licences, and implementation for an end-customer for a period of five years. In a separate notice, the company said it has received and accepted a purchase order from a customer for its Policy Administration System for aggregate commercial value of ₹21.24 crore.
Piramal Finance on Wednesday said Anand Piramal will become the company’s chairman. Anand joined the business in 2019 and has led the retail lending platform and also the ₹34,250-crore acquisition of DHFL, an official statement said, adding his father Ajay will continue to be the chairman of the Piramal Group. His appointment comes following the approval of the scheme of merger of Piramal Enterprises with its wholly-owned subsidiary Piramal Finance by the NCLT, the statement said.
JK Lakshmi Cement has acquired a 26 per cent stake in Ampin C&I Power, which will enable it to source solar power under the applicable captive power laws. The JK group firm is investing ₹4 crore in a 9.9 MWp solar project through a Power Purchase Agreement, a company statement said.
Swan Defence and Heavy Industries Ltd (SDHD), India’s largest shipbuilding and heavy fabrication company, has signed an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with European offshore oil & gas vessel leader Royal IHC. The partners will combine their expertise, infrastructure, and geographical advantages to design, build, and retrofit offshore oil and gas and other types of vessels. The MoU was signed along with Alar Infrastructure, the Indian representative of Royal IHC.

RCCPL Private, a subsidiary of Birla Corporation, has won the bid for the Kanpa-Junapani limestone block in Adilabad, Telangana. The final bid was 87.05% of the base price. The block covers 3.38 sq km.
