M&A expert joins CFC as underwriter – Insurance News

Danton Stoloff has been appointed senior underwriter for transaction liability in Australia at cyber specialist CFC.

Sydney-based Mr Stoloff is responsible for expanding the transaction liability offering across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

He joins CFC after five years at Marsh, where he was VP Pacific digital senior operations and strategy.

He also spent four years at legal firm McCabe Curwood as a corporate mergers and acquisitions and banking and finance lawyer.

CFC Australia MD Anita Lane says Mr Stoloff’s M&A legal expertise, financial acumen and commercial experience make him a valuable addition.

“Danton joins the team at an exciting time of growth as we continue to expand our transaction liability offering and product suite across the Asia-Pacific region.”

Mr Stoloff says CFC has already made significant strides.

“That is only going to continue. I’m looking forward to being part of that growth and enhancing our transaction liability offering across our end of fund life, secondaries and TLPE [transaction liability private enterprise] products,” he said.

“I am truly grateful for the opportunities Marsh offered me and for the amazing people who made it such a special place to work … While I will deeply miss my colleagues, I’m thrilled about this new role and the opportunity to reconnect with my network in the M&A space.”
